A visit to Crystal Lake is always a good idea. So many cool things in the San Gabriel Mountains, just inspiring. Hiking along the Rattlesnake Trail is splendid fun, and a pleasant close by hotel is Best Western Route 66 Glendora Inn. Not much precipitation falls here at Crystal Lake; February is the wettest month with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Bear Creek Trail, and Crystal Lake is not far at

| | all from Los Angeles-Long Beach-Santa Ana.
For the period of the days of summer at Crystal Lake temperatures are typically in the 90's, and the overnight is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 60's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Crystal Lake dip into the 30's. Crystal Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Don't forget to take a delightful little visit to Cedar Creek It's always nice to take a look at Alexander Spring. Alpine Canyon
is a brilliant place to stop by near Crystal Lake; the snow is magnificent at Mountain High. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the San Gabriel Mountains. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the High Desert
National Recreational Trail, and camping at Coldbrook Campground is always a great experience.
This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of lovely Mount Islip near Crystal Lake is good, and why not head up to Ski Sunrise and strap
some skis to your feet. Crystal Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Deer Flat Campground is a pleasant local campground; locations like Pine Flats are great to visit.
