Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Crystal Lake. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Crystal Lake. Not far from Crystal Lake, you'll locate Juniper Lake which is a beautiful lake; if you want to have a look at some out of the ordinary stuff, have a look at       Crystal Cliffs. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crystal Lake has to offer, you can camp at Benner Creek Campground; if you need a site to stay Best Western Rose Quartz Inn is a nice choice. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Southern Cascade Range. Don't leave Crystal Lake without first going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 16, and you ought to pop by Inspiration Point when                  you're here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Crystal Lake; Childs Meadows Trail is a splendid local trail, and Bonte Peak can be spotted from Crystal Lake. There's so much to do here at Crystal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Warner Creek Campground is a perfect place for that, and Lassen Volcanic National Park is a brilliant national park. Just can't get enough of the Southern Cascade Range. Bailey Creek Cottages is a delightful site to get some rest, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at nearby Glen Lake. Crystal Lake is pretty dried out ordinarily; during the month of January you get the most rain around here, and July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Lassen Trail, and do set aside some time for Cameron Meadow while you're here at Crystal Lake.
