  This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Barney Lake is a perfect place to do that. Go for a hike on the Pacific Crest Trail - section 12; camping at Pacific Crest Trail Trailcamp 978.2 is always a wonderful experience. Mule Pass is in close proximity to Crown Lake and is undeniably a tremendous site to go to; if you need a location to stay Virginia Creek Settlement is a nice choice.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Dry warm beds await
    you at Bridgeport Inn, and don't leave Crown Lake without first going for a hike along the Ten Lakes Trail. So much exciting stuff in the Central Sierra Nevada, just inspiring.
