California has many beautiful lakes and Crescent Lake is one of them. At Crescent Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 70's, and the overnight is fairly colder of course, frequently in the 50's. During the winter highs are typically in the 40's with temperatures at Crescent Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. The peak of Mount Silliman can be spotted from Crescent Lake, and hiking along the Don Cecil Trail is nice fun.

If you need a place to stay Western Holiday Lodge Three Rivers is a good choice; why not camp at Aspen Hollow - Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park since you're here at Crescent Lake. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things in the Southern Sierra Nevada. to have a look at. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Crescent Lake. Get wet paddling on Kaweah River, and Crescent Lake is right by the Sheep Creek Trail.
The annual precipitation
here at Crescent Lake is about average; the month with most of the rain is January while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. That right there is a lot of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Southern
Sierra Nevada has it all. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Kaweah River - Middle Fork; why not take a refreshing hike along the High Sierra Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Crescent Lake is Log Bridge
Campground, and Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Park is a tremendous national park.
If you get bored of Crescent Lake, you could also go to close by Beville Lake, and it's a good idea to stop by Horse Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Sierra Nevada.
