This lake is so wonderful. Getting to Crescent Creek from Crescent Lake is uncomplicated, and there's whitewater on Big Creek for all you adrenaline rush seekers. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Badger
Pass since you're here. Why not camp at Little Sandy Campground while you're here at Crescent Lake, and nearby you come across the Buena Vista Trail which is a great hiking trail.

Crescent Lake a wet spot; January is when you get the most rain here, and July is the month with the least moisture. Nearby lakes? Sure, Chilnualna Lakes is in close proximity to Crescent Lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Merced River - South Fork.
