     This lake is so wonderful. Crater Lake is right by the Burnside Lake Trail; why not camp at Upper Blue Lake Campground since you're here at Crater Lake. Carson Pass is a splendid spot to go to near Crater Lake, and camping is available at Woods Lake Campground. Summertime at Crater Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's  
   to Crater Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Kirkwood are so inviting noone can resist; you can run the rapids of Mokelumne River - North Fork. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do near Crater Lake. Here at Crater Lake there are plenty of people from Gardnerville Ranchos. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada.
Crater Lake gets lots of water; during the month of January you get the most snow around here,
 
               and the driest month of the year is July. If you need a spot to stay The Mountain Club is a tremendous choice; if the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a great panorama of Red Lake Peak from Crater Lake. So much enjoyable stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada, just striking. Lakes are such serene locations, why not have a look at Red Lake in the vicinity of Crater Lake; a tremendous spot for whitewater paddling is Carson River - East Fork.
What would winter be without some skiing at Sierra at Tahoe, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Crater Lake; Hawley Grade Trail is a nice local trail. And that's not everything you can do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Charity Valley Trail; a beautiful lake like Frog Lake is a great site to have a look at. If only every spot had this much outdoors cool things, what a great world it would be. The Meadow is a glorious spot to get some rest, and you simply have to visit Kit Carson since you're here at Crater Lake.
