The beauty of Crater Lake attracts many people from all around. All year is a good time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you adore the outdoors. Pine Cone Acre Motel is a wonderful location to get some rest, and the sight of Red Lake Peak is beautiful. At Crater Lake through the summertime highs are in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Crater Lake

| | dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Carson Pass is close to Crater Lake and is a good spot, and Woods Lake Campground is a good campground nearby. You're sure to run into some wonderful people from Gardnerville Ranchos here, and a great nearby hotel is Harvest Inn-St Helena, Napa Valley. The skiing at Sierra at Tahoe is great, and Kit Carson is a nice spot to stop by while in the vicinity. Be careful coming to Crater | |

Lake, you might not ever wanna return back home again. A day on the slopes of Kirkwood is just what you need; going for a hike along the Charity Valley Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. The Northern Sierra
Nevada scenery is always beautiful. So many fun things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too great to be true. Have a good hiking adventure along the Hawley Grade Trail, and there's whitewater on Mokelumne River - North Fork
for all you thrill seekers. Get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Carson River - East Fork; not far from Crater Lake you'll stumble on Scotts Lake which is a lovely lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're
here at Crater Lake you can take a hike along the Burnside Lake Trail, and Crater Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Upper Blue Lake Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby. Crater Lake is a rather wet
place frequently with much rain; January is when you get the most snow here, and July is the month with the least moisture. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Crater Lake. Lakes? Sure, Scotts Lake is nearby.
