Do stop by Crag Lake while you're in this part of California. All year is a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you go for the outdoors. A day at charming Lester Beach in close proximity to Crag Lake is a fine thing to do; in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on American River - South Fork. This lake is located in the wonderful Northern Sierra Nevada. So many enjoyable things to do here in the Northern Sierra Nevada, too wonderful to be true. Lake is close to the national average; January is when you get the most snow here; the driest of the months is July.
The skiing at Homewood is glorious, and Calawee Cove Beach is a wonderful beach to take a look at. This lake
is so wonderful. While you're here at Crag Lake you can take a hike along the Red Peak Trail; there are plenty of people from Gardnerville Ranchos here. Why not camp at General Creek Campground since you're here at Crag Lake; Rubicon
Peak is lovely and can be spotted from here.
Yeah, come here to Crag Lake for a magnificent time. Silver Creek - South Fork has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, and everybody close by loves skiing at Sierra at Tahoe.
Summer brings highs in the 70's to Crag Lake, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Crag Lake. A good site to camp here
at Crag Lake is Eagle Falls Campground, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14.
