Go to Crafton Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Hit the slopes at Snow Summit in close proximity, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Morton Ridge Trail. Going for a hike on the Alder Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and since you're here why not explore Sand Canyon. This lake is so wonderful. All our national parks are great spots to go to, and Mojave National Preserve is no exception, and dry warm beds await you at Ayres Hotel Redlands. So much entertaining stuff to do at Crafton Reservoir, so little time. slopes and a friendly staff, and nearby you hit upon the Government Canyon Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail.
Crafton Reservoir gets very little rainfall; the month of February is the wettest with most of the rain, and the
driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Yucaipa Valley Golf Club, and during your journey here you'll meet some people from Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario for
sure.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Crafton Reservoir. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's while Crafton Reservoir overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's.
