Going for a hike along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 11 will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and a lake nearby is Guitar       Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Bishop here. Around Crabtree Lakes you don’t get a lot of rain; January is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. The panorama of wonderful Mount Chamberlin near Crabtree Lakes is glorious, and Comfort Inn Lone Pine is a good spot to get some rest.
