Through the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Coyote Reservoir. Lakes are such peaceful sites, why not visit Deadhorse Reservoir next to Coyote Reservoir, and paddling on Pit River is so much fun. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Coyote Reservoir. An average amount of rainfall falls       at Coyote Reservoir; throughout December this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest. If you came to camp Crater Lake Campground is a fine spot to do that; Coyote Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Little Antelope Campground is a great local campground. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Southern Cascade Range, not sufficient time. A glorious location to stop by near Coyote Reservoir is Coyote Canyon; if you need                  a place to stay Hotel Mt. Lassen is a perfect choice. This lake is so wonderful. The view of Indian Mountain from Coyote Reservoir is wonderful; Spaulding Reservoir is a wonderful lake nearby. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range.   Hotel Mt.
