There are some perfect whitewater spots on Coyote Creek, and Coyote Lake Park is a good campground nearby. If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Gilroy is a great choice; there's whitewater on Arroyo Valle River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. High temperatures at Coyote Lake throughout the warm months are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures       sink down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Coyote Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Ramada Morgan Hill San Jose is a great spot to spend a night or two, and Coyote Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Henry W. Coe State Park is a magnificent site to camp nearby. Around Coyote Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; January is when                  you get the most rain here, and the driest month is June. So much fun stuff to do here at Coyote Lake, too good to be true.
