Coyote Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Devils Postpile National Monument is a wonderful national park, and the summit of Cockscomb can be seen from Coyote Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Central Sierra Nevada. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mono Creek; if you get bored of Coyote Lake you could also have a look at nearby Frog Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Coyote Lake you can take a hike along

| | the Mammoth Rock Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Sierra Summit. But wait, there's more to do close to Coyote Lake. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back over and over. Hit the slopes at Mammoth Mountain in close proximity, and if you need a location to stay Snowcreek Resort is a nice choice. month with most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. If you come at the right time of year, San Joaquin River - Middle Fork offers some glorious whitewater, and Arch Rock is a delightful place to check out while in the neighborhood.
This lake is so wonderful. On a glorious day at Coyote Lake you can take a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and Margaret Lakes is a nearby lake that you could stop by. There's so much to do here at Coyote Lake that you need
to camp here for a while, Portal Forebay Campground is a tremendous location for that; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Red Mountain Trail. This place, Coyote Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors amusing stuff.
Stay the night at Vermilion Campground, and dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Mountain Inn. During the summertime months, highs frequently are in the 70's at Coyote Lake. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 40's. Highs all through
the wintertime are usually in the 40's while Coyote Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
