The Southern Cascade Range is so good! Don't leave Coyote Hole without first paying a visit to Slate Creek Springs, and the peak of Gooch Mountain can be spotted from Coyote Hole. Coyote Hole is a location that is relatively dried out commonly; through January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. This lake is so wonderful. There are other sites here than Coyote Hole, for example Little       Cleghorn Reservoir, and Coyote Hole is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Prison Spring Campground is a nice local campground. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll go for Coyote Hole. Lakes? Sure, Cleghorn Reservoir is in the neighborhood, and Hotel Mt. Lassen is a glorious location to get some rest. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Coyote Hole with night lows in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the                  40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Coyote Hole. Places like Coulthurst Flat are great to have a look at; a brilliant place to camp here at Coyote Hole is North Eagle Lake Campground.
