The Southern Cascade Range scenery is always beautiful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Soldier Mountain Reservoir, and there's splendid hiking along the Coal Mine Trail. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. At Coyote Flat Reservoir you can make out Fort Mountain. There's so much to do here at Coyote Flat Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Dusty Campground is a perfect site

Trail is a great local trail, and a tour to Lassen Volcanic National Park is worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 17, and if you came to camp Burney Falls Trailer

There are 50 and 30amp sites. Our sites are long so we can accomidate large RV's. There are 3 cabins available at Rancheria RV Park. For this particular mountain, the typical route is known as a ''herd path'' which is not much more than a worn, but unmarked trail. Some of the herd paths are easy to follow, others are not.
