Just can't get enough of the Southern Cascade Range. Not much precipitation falls here at Cowboy Lake; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Cowboy Lake has it all. If time allows, Lassen Volcanic National Park is a national park worth visiting. at Cowboy Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. A swamp like Cooper Swamp right next door to Cowboy Lake has lots of interesting things to see, and you can stay the night at Silver Bowl Campground. If you need
