High temperatures at Cottonwood Lake through the days of summer are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 60's while Cottonwood Lake nighttime low temperatures
during the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Black Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; the top of Tres Cerritos is easily observed from Cottonwood
Lake. Cottonwood Lake gets very little precipitation; during February this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is June.
