Stough Campground is a splendid campground nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Pine Creek Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Warner Mountains. Cottonwood Lake is a location that is rather dehydrated mostly; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while July is usually the driest month. Yep, outdoors entertaining things to do are really plentiful here at Cottonwood       Lake. A pleasant visit to Pine Creek Basin is a pleasant way to spend an afternoon, and Best Western Trailside Inn is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Squaw Peak is easy to spot from Cottonwood Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cottonwood Lake; Owl Creek Trail is a wonderful local trail. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Cottonwood Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's.                  Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Cottonwood Lake through the wintertime usually drop into the 10's. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Warner Mountains.
