    It's always fun to stop by Coronet Lake. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Coronet Lake. All our national parks are magnificent places to take a look at, and Devils Postpile National Monument is no exception, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
Coronet Lake is commonly a rather dry site; the wettest month
 
   of the year is regularly January, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is June. Whitewater paddling is splendid on San Joaquin River - South Fork, and Mosquito Flat Campground is a perfect campground here. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Central Sierra Nevada. A day on the slopes of Mammoth Mountain is just what you need, and dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Creek Inn.
If you
 
               go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Coronet Lake is a wonderful location to camp, Lower Blayney Campground is a wonderful location, and if you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Sierra Nevada is a brilliant choice. Get wet paddling on Mono Creek, and going for a hike along the Sherwin Lakes Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity. During the summer highs here at Coronet Lake get into the 70's, and the nighttime is rather chillier of course, typically in the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Coronet Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Mount Hilgard is clearly visible from Coronet Lake, and if you've had enough of Coronet Lake, Bear Paw Lake is close by.
