If you are in this part of California make sure to pay a visit to Cornaz Lake. Cornaz Lake gets lots of water; during the month of January you get the most snow around here while July is usually the driest month. Summertime highs at Cornaz Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Cornaz Lake. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this

| | place. A tour to Lassen Volcanic National Park is recommended, and if you came for an overnight stay Hat Creek Hereford Ranch is a pleasant site to camp.
Just can't get enough of the Southern Cascade Range. Don't leave Cornaz Lake without first going for a hike along the Bunchgrass Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Pit River offers some tremendous whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail is a good local trail; there are some tremendous whitewater spots on Pit River. And if that's not enough there's a lot more cool things to do in the Southern Cascade Range. Put some time aside to spend
at Cornaz Spring since you're here at Cornaz Lake.
Honn Campground is a great local campground; great hiking is available along the Chaos Crags Trail. Cornaz Lake is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. At Cornaz Lake you can distinguish Cinder Butte; a great spot like Dutch Flat here at Cornaz Lake is too great to miss.
