Why not stop by Cornaz Lake if you're passing through these parts. Good hiking is available along the Bunchgrass Trail It's always brilliant to stop at Cornaz Spring. Cornaz Lake is not the only place close by, Box Lake is a close by lake; Pit River is a great whitewater spot close by. Cornaz Lake is a beautiful lake in the Southern Cascade Range. the rapids of Pit River in the neighborhood of Cornaz Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Cornaz Lake; Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail is a good local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Honn Campground
is a good location to do that; if you get bored of Cornaz Lake you could also check out close by Lake Eiler. All through the summertime months highs here at Cornaz Lake get into the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's
regularly in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's while Cornaz Lake nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Southern

A 4 1/2 star golf course is about 30 minutes in Fall River Mills. The north entrance of Lassen National Park is a short 20 minute drive and Subway Cave, a volcanic formed tube , is a 5 minute drive. Another attraction to this area is the Thousand Lake Wilderness area, hiking and beautiful scenery are part of the experience in this remote wilderness area. If you aren't up to all these activities you can just relax here in the park, watching the ducks in the lake and the fish jumping or fish for our trophy rainbow trout with barbless flies or barbless singe hook spinners. Our lake Catherine is catch and release only.
