: Beautiful small high Sierra lake. Rainbow and an abundant amount of large Browns. Great lake for float tube. Shore reeds fairly heavy around the shoreline. Go to the NE end of the lake on the rocks, very nice. Browns below.

For the duration of the summer months highs here at Cora Lakes reach the 90's while night lows are regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Cora Lakes dip into the 20's. The Niche is a great spot to stop at nearby; Bugg Meadow is right here at Cora Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Mammoth Mountain Inn is a good choice; hiking along the Gaylor

| | Lakes Trail is pleasant fun. Cora Lakes gets a common amount of annual rain; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is June. If you came to camp Clover Meadow Campground is a great place to do that, and do explore Lily Lake, it's a charming lake. So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too magnificent to be true. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend | |

San Joaquin River. There's so much to do here at Cora Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Granite Creek Campground is a perfect place for that. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, San Joaquin
River - Middle Fork offers some great whitewater; do take a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2. All year is a fine time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you like the outdoors. Heidelberg Inn is a perfect site to get some rest;
you can have a great hiking adventure along the John Muir Trail - section 1. Cora Lakes is a beautiful lake in the Central Sierra Nevada. Be careful coming to Cora Lakes, you might not ever want to return back home again. June Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand, and if you're here, you could also pop by beautiful Lost Lake.
