    The beauty of Cora Lakes is reason enough to stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Bugg Meadow, and if you came for an overnight stay Granite Creek Campground is a good place to camp. A pleasant place in close proximity to Cora Lakes is The Niche, and nearby you find the John Muir Trail - section 1 which is a glorious hiking trail. After a long day outdoors Heidelberg Inn is a great spot to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time  
   of year, San Joaquin River offers some magnificent whitewater.
So much entertaining stuff to do at Cora Lakes, so little time. Clover Meadow Campground is a good campground here, and get yourself into a kayak and hit San Joaquin River - Middle Fork. But wait, there's more cool stuff to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. June Mountain is a very popular ski area in the vicinity, and the John Muir Trail - section 2 is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. Having
 
               a magnificent time in the Central Sierra Nevada is uncomplicated. If you need a place to stay 1849 Condos at Canyon Lodge is a brilliant choice; there is a delightful hiking trail close by called the Gaylor Lakes Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. A typical amount of rain falls here at Cora Lakes; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain; the driest month is June. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
Summertime at Cora Lakes comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Cora Lakes dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
