In California there are many beautiful lakes, Cooney Lake is one of them. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Cooney Lake. Cooney Lake is right by the John Muir Trail - section 2, and since you're here, you could also check out striking Blue Lake. Through the months of summer highs here at Cooney Lake get into the 80's. a pleasant local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Saddlebag Campground, and Yosemite Gateway Motel is a delightful location to get some rest. The Pacific Crest Trail - section 12 offers hiking at its best, and
do pop by Frog Lakes, it's a charming lake. Having a good time in the Central Sierra Nevada is uncomplicated. After a long day outdoors Heidelberg Inn is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; get covered with water paddling
on Tenaya Creek. Cooney Lake is ordinarily a relatively dry location; the month with most of the snow is January, and October is the month with the least moisture.
