Get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of San Joaquin River - South Fork, and dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Creek Inn. Mammoth Lakes Travelodge is a great site to get some rest, and splendid skiing awaits you at Mammoth Mountain. Don't leave Convict Lake without first going for a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail, and Mono Jim Peak is gorgeous and can be observed from here. This lake is one of the great places here       in the Central Sierra Nevada. Convict Lake is a location that is rather dried up ordinarily; all through the month of January you get the most rain around here, and June meanwhile is the driest month. All the outdoors amusing things in the Central Sierra Nevada will keep you coming back again and again. Sevehah Cliff is an interesting thing to spot since you're here at Convict Lake, and camping is available at Upper McGee Creek Campground. June Mountain has                  perfect slopes and a friendly staff; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Mono Creek. That right there is heaps already, but it carries on; Convict Lake has it all. This lake is so wonderful. The vistas at Devils Postpile National Monument will blow your mind, and Lake Genevieve is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Yeah, come up here to the Central Sierra Nevada for a great time. Go for a hike on the Sherwin Lakes Trail, and since you're here, you could also take a look at wonderful Bright Dot Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Convict Lake. If you came for an overnight stay Lake Crowley Campground is a good place to camp, and playing golf is lots of fun at Snowcreek Golf Course. Summer at Convict Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 40's.
