     Constance Lake gets very little rain; the month with most of the rain is January; the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. The top of Mount Baldwin is easily made out from Constance Lake, and a lake nearby is Bighorn Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mammoth Mountain since you're here, and dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Lakes Travelodge.
Do pay a visit to Devils Postpile National Monument since you're
 
   here at Constance Lake, and float down the rapids of San Joaquin River - South Fork in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Mammoth Creek Inn is a pleasant choice; you could always look at McGee Pass. The Central Sierra Nevada scenery is always beautiful.
Summertime highs at Constance Lake typically tend to be in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows throughout
 
               the winter for Constance Lake tend to be in the 20's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. Constance Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Upper McGee Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground, and there is a good hiking trail close by called the Sherwin Lakes Trail. You can never get enough of the fine skiing at June Mountain.
Having a pleasant time in the Central Sierra Nevada is easy. A magnificent spot to camp here at Constance Lake is Lake Crowley Campground, and paddling on Mono Creek is so much fun. You simply must adore Constance Lake. Lake Wit-So-Nah-Pah is a nearby lake that you could visit; nearby you come across the Mammoth Rock Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail.
