What a location this is for outdoors people. Lake Huntington is a wonderful lake near Colorado Lagoon, and Recreation Park Golf Course is a golf course nearby. If you need a location to stay Guesthouse Intl Long Beach is a wonderful choice, and there are other locations here than Colorado Lagoon, for example Bouton Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to hit the beach, Surfside Beach is in the vicinity,       and Mt Waterman is a great local ski area. Alamitos Bay is in the vicinity and always nice to explore; Golden Shore RV Resort is a great campground nearby. You have to without doubt pop by scenic Alamitos Bay Beach while you're here at Colorado Lagoon, and Shoreline RV Park is a pleasant local campground. Colorado Lagoon gets very little rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally February, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month                  of the year is July. At Colorado Lagoon during the days of summer highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 60's while Colorado Lagoon night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 40's. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Best Western Golden Sails Hotel.
