This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Knights' Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Bear Creek. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Coleman Forebay; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Coleman Forebay is a good location to visit for more than one day, Rio Vista Mobile       Estates is a good location to camp nearby, and let's not forget Spring Branch which is a stream that you may encounter while here. Baymont Inn & Suites Anderson is a great location to get some rest; Battle Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. Summertime at Coleman Forebay arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's                  to Coleman Forebay. Man, is there a lot of enjoyable stuff to do in the neighborhood of Coleman Forebay.
