This lake is one of the great places here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. A good site to camp here at Cole Creek Lakes is Bear River Lake Resort, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Mokelumne River - North Fork. All year is a great time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you go for the outdoors. Go for a hike on the Charity Valley Trail; the best way to spend a       winter day is on the slopes of close by Kirkwood. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Bear Valley in the vicinity, and while you're here, you could also stop by gorgeous Black Rock Lake. For the period of the long summer days at Cole Creek Lakes highs are frequently in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 40's. For the period of the winter the highs are commonly in the 30's, and winter nights come with                  lows in the 10's to Cole Creek Lakes. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. A spree to Ladeux Meadow revitalizes the spirit; Pine Cone Acre Motel is a fine place to get some rest. Cole Creek Lakes is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; January is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest of the months is July. Camping at Plasse's Resort is always a magnificent experience; there is a good hiking trail nearby called the Emigrant Trail. Any time is a good time at Cole Creek Lakes if you adore the outdoors. Horse Thief Spring is a delightful location to have a look at while you're at Cole Creek Lakes, and going for a hike on the Hawley Grade Trail is always a splendid adventure.
