Cogswell Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. High temperatures at Cogswell Reservoir during the months of summer are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are commonly in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Cogswell Reservoir. Skiing at Mt Waterman is one of those things you just ought to do, and a tour to nearby Twomile Point is

This lake is so wonderful. One of the dominant characteristics of the surroundings of Cogswell Reservoir is Monrovia Peak, and if you need a spot to stay Duarte Days Inn is a great choice. Cogswell Reservoir is located
in the San Gabriel Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Santa Anita Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Courtyard Los Angeles Pasadena/Monrovia.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the San Gabriel Mountains. Really perfect
skiing awaits you at Ski Sunrise, and Cogswell Dam is not far at all from Cogswell Reservoir. The yearly precipitation here at Cogswell Reservoir is about average; February is the month that gets the most rain, and July meanwhile is the driest month.
