If you are in Sierra county it's always a good idea to stop by Coburn Lake. Coburn Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain, and July is when it's the driest. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Coburn Lake. You'll discover a charming lake called Lake of The Woods near Coburn Lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Fordyce Creek offers some good whitewater.

Glide down the rapids of Yuba River - South Fork in a kayak, and Coburn Lake is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Lincoln Creek Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby. 90's to Coburn Lake. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 40's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Coburn Lake temperatures plunge
to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Cottonwood Botanical Trail is tremendous fun, and wonderful scenery and delightful skiing is what you acquire at Soda Springs. Take a hike on the Mount Lola Trail, and what
would winter be without some skiing at Royal Gorge. So much exciting stuff to do in the Northern Sierra Nevada, not enough time. After a long day outdoors Chalet View Lodge is a great site to spend a night or two, and Yubas Pass
Campground is a great campground nearby. This spot, the Northern Sierra Nevada, has so much outdoors fun things. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Truckee, Ca, and lakes are such calm locations, why not take a look at Webber Lake.
