Homewood is a splendid place to do that; don't leave Clyde Lake without first going for a hike along the Windmiller Trail. This lake is so wonderful. One of the dominant features of the surroundings of Clyde Lake is Dicks Peak. Lakes? Sure, Island Lake is close by. If you come at the right time of year, American River - South Fork offers some great whitewater, and if you need a spot to stay Pine Cone Acre Motel is a nice choice. There are some       nice whitewater spots on Silver Creek - South Fork; there's great hiking along the Red Peak Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool things in the Northern Sierra Nevada. Pistantes Coyote Den is a great site to get some rest; hiking is a popular thing to do around Clyde Lake; Highland Trail is a great local trail. At Clyde Lake all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Throughout the wintertime                  highs are generally in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Clyde Lake. Clyde Lake is a good place of common rainfall; January is the month that gets the most snow; July meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Clyde Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lovers Leap Campground is a great place for that, and the slopes of Sierra at Tahoe are so inviting noone can resist. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun. There are other places here than Clyde Lake, for example Lyons Lake, and a perfect place to have a look at nearby is Mosquito Pass. All year is a perfect time in the Northern Sierra Nevada if you fancy the outdoors. A pleasant tour to China Flat is a tremendous way to spend an afternoon, and Clyde Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Fortytwo Mile Campground is a fine local campground. If you adore the outdoors, you'll like Clyde Lake. During your tour to Clyde Lake you'll meet some people from Gardnerville Ranchos for sure.
