    What a nice lake Cloverleaf Lake is. Devils Postpile National Monument is a very tremendous location to check out in the vicinity of Cloverleaf Lake; dry warm beds await you at Mammoth Creek Inn. This lake is so wonderful. June Mountain is a very popular ski area close at hand. During the days of summer here at Cloverleaf Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the  
   40's with temperatures at Cloverleaf Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors cool things just keep reading. If you came for an overnight stay Upper McGee Creek Campground is a fine site to camp, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Bighorn Lake. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again. Mammoth Mountain has
 
               great slopes and a friendly staff, and if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River - South Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Mono Creek is a great whitewater spot near Cloverleaf Lake, and if you need a location to stay Mammoth Lakes Travelodge is a good choice.
Bloody Mountain can be observed from Cloverleaf Lake, and do take a hike on the Mammoth Rock Trail. Around Cloverleaf Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is June. Cloverleaf Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
