There are other places here than Cliff Lake, for example Lower Cliff Lake; hiking is a popular thing to do around Cliff Lake; Echo Lake Trail is a pleasant local trail. The warmest time of the year at Cliff Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's. Highs through the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Cliff Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.

to visit for more than one day, Gumboat Campground is a delightful spot to camp nearby. Cliff Lake is pretty waterless ordinarily; most of the rain falls all through December, and July is the month with the least moisture. Why not
take a refreshing hike along the Castle Lake Trail, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Trinity River - East Fork. Head up to Mount Shasta and strap some skis to your feet, and a fine place for whitewater paddling
is Sacramento River. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Castle Lake Campground, and Quality Inn & Suites Weed is a brilliant place to get some rest. Do set aside some time for Devils Pocket if you're here at Cliff Lake.
