What a place this is for outdoors folks. Dry warm beds await you at Baymont Inn Yreka. Don't leave Cliff Lake without first going for a hike along the Tanners Peak Trail; you can stay the night at Spring Flat Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The Deacon Lee Trail offers hiking at its best, and Angel Lake is a good lake close by.

Salmon River has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Klamath Mountains rocks! There's so much to do here at Cliff Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Indian Scotty Campground is a fine location for that, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Scott River.
