This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Cliff Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Warner Valley Campground is a delightful spot for that, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Growler Trail. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Southern       Cascade Range. Stay the night at Kings Creek Campground, and don’t forget to stop at Dersch Meadows since you're here at Cliff Lake. If you need a site to stay Bailey Creek Cottages is a glorious choice, and do take a hike on the Hanna Trail. Summer at Cliff Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Cliff Lake are in the                  10's. While you're here at Cliff Lake you can take a hike along the Childs Meadows Trail, and Reading Peak is beautiful and can be seen from here. This lake is so wonderful. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff right next door to Cliff Lake. A great close by hotel is Best Western Rose Quartz; if you have the time, Lassen Volcanic National Park is a national park worth a visit. The high level of precipitation makes Cliff Lake a quite wet site; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most snow while July is frequently the driest month. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Southern Cascade Range is great!
