This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. A fine sight of pretty Brown Peak is available from Cliff Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Red Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Bullfrog Lake, and Marmot Rock Campground is a great campground here. Cliff Lake is right by the Deep Creek Trail; camping at Cliff Lake is brilliant fun, Trapper Springs Campground is a brilliant local campground. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Dinkey Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Juniper Springs Resort. Cliff Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; most of the rain falls during January; July is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the                  long summer days here at Cliff Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's while overnight lows are usually in the 40's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Cliff Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. Just can't get enough of the Central Sierra Nevada.
