You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cliff Lake has to offer, you can camp at Meeks Bay Resort & Marina, and Sierra at Tahoe has perfect slopes and a friendly staff. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Pacific Crest Trail - section 14, and a lake nearby is Hidden Lake. An average amount of precipitation falls at Cliff Lake; the month with most of the snow is January while July       is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Be careful coming to the Northern Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to go back home again. From Cliff Lake you acquire a good panorama of Jakes Peak, and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Homewood. After a long day outdoors Granlibakken Lodge and Conference Center is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and if you get bored of Cliff Lake you could also take a look at close by                  Stony Ridge Lake. That right there is a lot of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Northern Sierra Nevada has it all. A wonderful beach next to Cliff Lake is Lester Beach; do take a hike on the General Creek Trail. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. A day at Calawee Cove Beach next to Cliff Lake is time well spent; whitewater paddling is magnificent on Silver Creek - South Fork. Having a brilliant time at Cliff Lake is easy. A fine nearby hotel is Pine Cone Acre Motel, and going for a hike along the Red Peak Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region. This lake is so wonderful. Cliff Lake is a spot with many visitors from Gardnerville Ranchos, and since you're here why not check out Phipps Pass. So many exciting things next to Cliff Lake, just fantastic. American River - South Fork has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Cliff Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Eagle Falls Campground is a great place to camp nearby. Throughout the summertime highs here at Cliff Lake reach the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 40's.
