Get yourself into a kayak and hit Noyo River, and swamps like Inglenook Fen in the neighborhood of Lake Cleone make for nice places to have a look at. If you come at the right time of year, Eel River - South Fork offers some fine whitewater, and do explore Sandhill Lake, it's a wonderful lake. That right there is loads of entertaining stuff already but it goes on,       the Coast Ranges has it all. A great beach in the vicinity of Lake Cleone is Laguna Point Beach; Travelodge Mariah County is a great place to get some rest. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area near Lake Cleone has to offer. Why not camp at Cleone Campground since you're here at Lake Cleone; Lake Cleone is not far at all from Ukiah. Lake Cleone is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; of all the months in a year                  January is the one with the most rain, and July is the month with the least moisture. Lake Cleone is one of the lakes here in the Coast Ranges. If you're here at Lake Cleone, you could check out Mill Creek, and a good nearby hotel is Best Western Vista Manor Lodge. This lake is so wonderful. Laguna Point is nearby and always great to stop at. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Lake Cleone, high temperatures usually get into the 60's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 50's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Lake Cleone tend to be in the 40's. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Coast Ranges.
