Noyo River is a splendid whitewater spot near Lake Cleone, and if you need a spot to stay Travelodge Fort Bragg is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Vista Manor Lodge is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. The Coast Ranges scenery is always beautiful. Mill Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth                  stopping at; why not camp at Surfwood Campground if you're here at Lake Cleone. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back again and again. Nothing beats kicking back at Laguna Point Beach; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Eel River - South Fork. Summertime highs at Lake Cleone typically tend to be in the 60's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's; night lows at Lake Cleone through the wintertime frequently sink into the 40's.
