What a nice lake Clear Lake is. Here at Clear Lake there are plenty of folks from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna. This place, the Coast Ranges, has so much outdoors entertaining things. Buck Flat is a beautiful spot any time of year, and there are nice sites to explore along the Dan East Trail. Clear Lake mostly gets a good deal of rain; the month of December is the wettest with most of the rain; July on the other hand is the driest.

| | of Titlow Hill; close by you stumble on the Grouse Creek Tractor Way which is a brilliant hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Grouse Creek Tractor Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Trinity River. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Coast Ranges. Put some time aside to spend at Cold Spring while you're here at Clear Lake; there are some good whitewater spots
on Redwood Creek. This place, Clear Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Lakes? Sure, Mud Lake is close at hand, and Clear Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Boise Creek Campground is a fine local
campground. During the summertime, highs regularly are in the 70's at Clear Lake; the nighttime is a bit chillier of course, typically in the 40's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's while Clear Lake overnight
low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 30's.
