     California has many beautiful lakes and Clark Lakes is one of them. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Clark Lakes has it all. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Joaquin River - Middle Fork; camping is available at Trailer Park Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Spooky Meadow is a great site here at Clark Lakes, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Mammoth Rock Trail. This  
   lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Heidelberg Inn is a great choice, and do take a hike on the John Muir Trail - section 2.
Having a wonderful time in the Central Sierra Nevada is uncomplicated. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mammoth Mountain is in close proximity to Clark Lakes; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Gaylor Lakes Trail. A great close by hotel is 1849 Condos at Canyon Lodge, and Carson Peak is a peak you can make
 
               out from Clark Lakes. Why not camp at Grant Lake Marina-campground if you're here at Clark Lakes, and Agnew Pass is undeniably a splendid location to stop at.
Clark Lakes is located in the Central Sierra Nevada. For the duration of the summertime at Clark Lakes highs are typically in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Clark Lakes. If you get bored of Clark Lakes, you could also go to nearby Agnew Lake.
You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. The snow is fine at June Mountain; don't forget to take a good little spree to Crest Creek. An average amount of precipitation falls at Clark Lakes; January is when you get the most rain here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
