For the duration of the long summer days at Cirque Lake highs are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Cirque Lake dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Cirque Lake is located in the Southern Cascade Range. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the       Southern Cascade Range. Going for a hike on the Bunchgrass Trail is always a great adventure, and if you've had enough of Cirque Lake, North Battle Creek Reservoir is close by. There's so much to do here at Cirque Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cutter Place Campground is a glorious site for that, and while you're here why not stop at Dry Gulch. Upper Plantation is a magnificent forest vicinity right next door to Cirque Lake; you can go for                  a hike on the Heart Lake Twin Meadows Trail. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Cirque Lake. Yep, outdoors enjoyable stuff truly is abundant here in the Southern Cascade Range. Buck Butte is easy to spot from Cirque Lake, and in all probability you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Huckleberry Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Battle Creek - South Fork; brilliant hiking is available along the Chaos Crags Trail. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Cirque Lake has to offer, you can camp at Butcher Gulch Campground, and Bailey Creek Cottages is a perfect place to get some rest. Don’t forget to check out Huckleberry Meadows if you're here at Cirque Lake, and visiting Lassen Volcanic National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Cirque Lake. Some of the water close by flows, like Beaver Creek; Castle Rock is a great place to visit while in the neighborhood.
