Chorro Reservoir is always a pleasure to visit. You absolutely should like the Santa Lucia Range. Ramada Inn San Luis Obispo is a fine location to get some rest; Chorro Reservoir is a place with many visitors from San Luis Obispo-Paso Robles. Stay the night at Montana De Oro State Park, and going for a hike on the Alan Peak Trail is always a perfect adventure. Around Chorro Reservoir you don’t get a lot of precipitation; January is the month that gets the most

| | rain; June on the other hand is the driest.
This lake is located in the wonderful Santa Lucia Range. Man, is there a lot of entertaining things to do in the Santa Lucia Range. At Chorro Reservoir through the months of summer highs are in the 60's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Chorro Reservoir are in the 40's.

to camp here for a while, Morro Strand State Beach is a nice place for that. Dry warm beds await you at San Luis Inn and Suites, and Dughi Spring is always fun to check out. This lake is so wonderful. There are great locations to
discover along the Manzanita Trail, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Laguna Lake is just a very short distance away.
