    Do stop by Chocolate Lakes while you're in this part of California. Chocolate Lakes is mostly a quite waterless location; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is June. Summertime highs at Chocolate Lakes mostly tend to be in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Chocolate Lakes are  
   in the 20's. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors fun things the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer. Aperture Peak is trouble-free to spot from Chocolate Lakes; why not camp at Willow Campground since you're here at Chocolate Lakes.
And that's not all you can do here at Chocolate Lakes. Whitewater paddling is good on Kings River - Middle Fork; camping at Chocolate Lakes is great fun, Aspen Meadow Campground is a great local campground. Having a great
 
               time in the Central Sierra Nevada is easy. If you're here, you might as well pop by Bishop Pass. There's good hiking along the John Muir Trail - Pacific Crest Section; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel - Bishop is a magnificent choice.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are brilliant; Bishop Lake is a lake that's near Chocolate Lakes; don't leave Chocolate Lakes without first going for a hike along the Kings River Trail. If time allows, Devils Postpile National Monument is a national park worth going to, and after a long day outdoors Bishop-Days Inn is a nice spot to spend a night or two.
