     This lake is so wonderful. The Clouds Rest Trail offers hiking at its best, and Sierra Summit has splendid slopes and a friendly staff. Merced River - South Fork is a glorious whitewater spot in close proximity to Chiquito Lake; dry warm beds await you at dnc -- Wawona Hotel. Chiquito Lake is one of the lakes here in the Central Sierra Nevada.
From a rainfall point of view Chiquito Lake is a relatively typical place; of all the months in a year January
 
   is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. Summertime highs at Chiquito Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Chiquito Lake. So many entertaining things close to Chiquito Lake, completely mind-boggling. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Mud Lakes.
 
               That right there is a load of amusing things already but it goes on, the Central Sierra Nevada has it all. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Badger Pass. Lakes are delightful; Swamp Lake is a lake that's close to Chiquito Lake. A good location to camp here at Chiquito Lake is Upper Chiquito Campground, and if time allows, Yosemite National Park is a national park worth checking out. Having a magnificent time at Chiquito Lake is easy. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Willow Creek, and why not camp at Beasore Meadows Campground if you're here at Chiquito Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is a perfect location to spend a night or two, and you acquire a pleasant sight of Quartz Mountain from here. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Chiquito Lake; Mono Meadow Trail is a glorious local trail, and spots like Brophy Meadow are great to pop by. Chiquito Lake is right by the Mist Trail, and Chiquito Pass is also a great location to explore.
