If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Northern Sierra Nevada. There are tremendous sites to discover along the Nevada Point Trail; NATIONAL 9 INN is a great place to get some rest.

| | night lows in the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Chiquita Lake. Chiquita Lake is located in the Northern Sierra Nevada. So much fun stuff to do here at Chiquita Lake, too good to be true. Don't leave Chiquita Lake without first going for a hike along the Bake Oven Trail; Camp Chiquita Campground is a tremendous campground nearby.

locations, why not check out Oxbow Reservoir near Chiquita Lake; at Chiquita Lake you always meet someone from Truckee-Grass Valley. Chiquita Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; January is the wettest month with most rain; the
driest of the months is July. This lake is so wonderful. A fine location in close proximity to Chiquita Lake is Tobacco Gulch, and good hiking is available along the Pigeon Roost Trail.
You'll really wish for more hours in a day
to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Northern Sierra Nevada. American River - South Fork is a good whitewater spot near Chiquita Lake; dry warm beds await you at Albert Shafsky House Bed And Breakfast. You can run the rapids of American River - Middle Fork near Chiquita Lake, and it's a wonderful idea to visit Canyon Creek.
