A pleasant trip to Muse Meadow is a great way to spend an afternoon, and perfect hiking is available along the Tanners Peak Trail. At Chinquapin Lake throughout the months of summer highs are in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Chinquapin Lake descend into the 30's. | | makes Chinquapin Lake a quite wet spot; the month with most of the rain is December, and July is when it's the driest. If only every site had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great globe it would be. The Deacon Lee Trail offers hiking at its best, and Scott River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. so wonderful. The summit of Boulder Peak can be made out from Chinquapin Lake; there's tremendous hiking along the Garden Gulch Trail. The Klamath Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place!
The Klamath Mountains is so good! If you came to camp Spring Flat Campground is a brilliant place to do that; do go to Dogwood Lake, it's a beautiful lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites
Yreka is a fine site to spend a night or two. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Klamath Mountains. While you're here at Chinquapin Lake, you could also visit lovely Buckhorn Lake; whitewater paddling is splendid on Salmon River.
