One of the main traits of the surroundings of Chimney Lake is Loper Peak; skiing at Sierra Summit is one of those things you just ought to do. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Lily Pad Campground while you're here at Chimney Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Kings River. Chimney Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; through                  the month of January you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is July.
