Why not take a refreshing hike along the Buena Vista Trail; the peak of Buena Vista Peak can be seen from Chilnualna Lakes. A great deal of precipitation falls at Chilnualna Lakes; the month of January is the wettest with most of the rain while July is commonly the driest month. Man, is there a load of entertaining things to do in the Central Sierra Nevada. Very beautiful scenery and pleasant skiing is what you get at Badger Pass,       and if you need a site to stay Yosemite Lodge at the Falls is a great choice. So many cool things to do here in the Central Sierra Nevada, too magnificent to be true. Chilnualna Lakes is right by the Panorama Trail, and a nice place to camp here at Chilnualna Lakes is Bridalveil Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Yosemite National Park is one of the destinations near Chilnualna Lakes that are great to go to; get yourself into a kayak and hit Merced                  River - South Fork. If you come at the right time of year, Big Creek offers some perfect whitewater. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Sierra Nevada. Chilnualna Lakes is near Buena Vista Pass which is beyond doubt worth checking out; you're probably keen on lakes, Buena Vista Lake is one of those nearby. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Chilnualna Lakes; Mono Meadow Trail is a great local trail; of course, this is a wonderful neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Hart Lakes is a lake close by. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Chilnualna Lakes, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Chilnualna Lakes dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Chilnualna Lakes.
