A visit to Chilkoot Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Near Chilkoot Lake you locate the Chilnualna Fall Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite is a perfect location to get some rest. This lake is located in the wonderful Central Sierra Nevada. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Central Sierra Nevada. All through the summer months at Chilkoot Lake highs are ordinarily in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Chilkoot Lake. Sierra Nevada, just inspiring. Visiting Yosemite National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and going for a hike on the Mono Meadow Trail is always a pleasant adventure.
If you get bored of Chilkoot Lake,
you could also stop at close by Bare Island Lake, and you can distinguish Little Shuteye Peak from Chilkoot Lake. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Hit the slopes at Badger Pass nearby, and Beasore Meadows is a
lovely place any time of year.
This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Willow Creek, and a lake close by is Lost Lake. Go for a hike on the Buena Vista Trail, and Beasore Meadows Campground is a splendid campground nearby.
