Chickenfoot lake is our favorite hike in the eastern Sierras. We have been doing this hike for 20 years, and there is a great view around every bend. It is a little bit up at the beginning but is well worth it. Says Madison
If you yearn for a little side journey, try Morgan Pass, and probably you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lake Crowley is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. A good place to camp here at Chickenfoot Lake
is Lake Inlet Campground, and you're sure to bump into some cheerful people from Mammoth Lakes here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Central Sierra Nevada has to offer.
