A visit to Chesbro Reservoir is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Near Chesbro Reservoir you hit upon Dunn Canyon which is a tremendous place to go to; you can run the rapids of Coyote Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Santa Cruz Mountains. So many exciting things in the Santa Cruz Mountains, just unbelievable.

| | a nice experience, and since you're here, you could visit Paradise Creek. For the period of the summertime highs here at Chesbro Reservoir reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Chesbro Reservoir temperatures plunge to the 30's. Marriott Morgan Hill is a splendid site to get some rest.
Not much rain falls here at Chesbro Reservoir; during the month of January you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is June. If you want a wonderful
time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Chesbro Reservoir. The peak of El Toro can be seen from Chesbro Reservoir, and Arroyo Hondo River is a great whitewater spot close by. After a long day outdoors Courtyard By Marriott
Morgan Hill is a good site to spend a night or two, and Chesbro Reservoir is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Thousand Trails Resorts is a wonderful local campground.
