What a nice lake Cherry Lake is. This is a popular place for folks from Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cherry Creek - West Fork. Be careful coming to the Central Sierra Nevada, you might not ever want to return home again. Do set aside some time for Wilson Meadow if you're here at Cherry Lake. | | while, Middlefork Campground is a good place for that. Throughout the summertime months at Cherry Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Cherry Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
